The next meal packing on Sunday, May 18 will be the last one for this church and school year. Our goal is to fill 140 bags with the 10 specific foods on our AUUC Meal Pack Food List.
Please help us prepare for May 18 by bringing a six-pack of one of the food items – maybe Chef Boyardee pasta cups , tuna or chicken salad snack kits, or applesauce cups or pouches. We need to have just the right number of items, since we can’t store extras over the summer. Thank you to everyone who donated the food items and helped assemble all those meal packs last month for our 35 Halley Elementary School children identified as experiencing food insecurity. Look for announcements in August when we resume this important community food justice program.
