Feb. 16 – Our Whole Lives (OWL) Meeting

Our Whole Lives (OWL) is a comprehensive sexuality education curriculum created collaboratively by the Unitarian Universalist Association and the United Church of Christ to educate all ages about the spectrum of sexuality: physical, emotional, and social. Using a holistic approach, OWL provides accurate, developmentally appropriate information which dismantles stereotypes and assumptions, builds self-acceptance and self-esteem, fosters healthy relationships, improves decision making, and has the potential to save lives. Learn more about Owl.

We would like to offer OWL for grades K-1 in March – May 2025, supporting parents in educating children about birth, babies, bodies and families. An informational meeting about K-1 OWL will be held at 2pm on Feb. 16 (on Zoom) for those interested in learning more. Please feel free to invite non-UU parents that are looking to create a knowledge foundation for their Kindergarteners or First Graders. See This Week for the Zoom link.

Those who wish to sign up should plan on a mandatory parent and child session on March 2 from 11:30 am -1 pm. Please contact Joe T. or Michele Andersen with questions.
