Register Now for CROP Hunger Walk and More

CROP Walk is an opportunity to work together with twenty other congregations and organizations in the Burke area to help Church World Service assist the people of foreign countries and here in the United States who are in crisis due to lack of food, water, shelter and basic necessities.  The elimination of foreign aid and reductions in national assistance programs by the Trump Administration have led to significant reductions in funding for CWS’s work and staffing. The need is more acute than ever.

Join the Accotink CROP Walk team now, make a modest donation, ask your friends to support you and make another donation later as you can. Our team is growing and additional donations are flowing in too. Thank you all.  We’d like to have a large contingent of walkers on Nov. 2. Plan Ahead for Christmas Giving with CROP Walk
Do you give books for Christmas? CROP Walk is partnering with Barnes and Noble at its store in Springfield and online on a Bookfair running from November 1-5. See Pete F. for details.  A flyer will follow soon.
