Read & Discuss Banned Books, Apr. 9

The 1619 Project: A New Origin Story by Nikole Hannah-Jones and the New York Times Magazine

Now in our second year, Racial Justice and True Accotink Colors host a monthly Banned Book Club on the second Tuesday of every month. Our next book is The 1619 Project: A New Origin Story. It is a 2021 anthology of essays and poetry that explore the legacy of slavery in present-day America.

Read the book then join us Tuesday, April 9 at 7pm (via Zoom) to discuss. Contact Mary K. for the Zoom link and to be added to the Banned Book Club mailing list.
