From a stamp for life-preserving papers to a cup for dancing flames, from a symbol of our service work abroad to a ritual at the heart of our Sunday services, the UU flaming chalice has a vibrant history. The story of our flaming chalice is the story of our living tradition: enacted, embodied, and evolving.
Emily Parker is a lifelong UU with a passion for building intergenerational, justice-seeking communities for the next generation. Emily holds an M.Div. with a specialization in Public Theology from Wesley Theological Seminary. Emily currently serves UU FaithAction New Jersey as Communications Director, and she is a candidate for UU ministry.
